Bilawal and Mengal agree on a common budgetary strategy Blogging Sole

ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto on Saturday called on Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) chief Akhtar Mengal to discuss the current political situation in the country.

According to details, the two leaders agreed on a joint strategy for next year’s fiscal budget.

They also exchanged views on the 18th Constitutional Amendment and the government’s measures regarding the award given by the National Finance Commission (NFC).

“By criticizing the 18th constitutional amendment, Imran Khan is attacking the constitution,” Bilawal said.

They expressed concern over the growing number of Covid-19 patients in the country and deliberated on holding an all-party conference next week.

Bilawal and Shehbaz reject federal budget

“The PTI-IMF budget is anti-people. We cannot accept it,” the PPP chairman said.

“Due to the government’s incompetence, the coronavirus has spread everywhere,” he added.

Both leaders also rejected the increase in oil prices and stressed that now is the time to provide maximum relief to the people.

A few days ago, Mengal announced his party’s withdrawal from its alliance with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led federal government due to its failure to implement agreements with the party.

Speaking at a session of the National Assembly, he said, “I officially announce that our party is ending its alliance with the PTI. We will stay in Parliament and continue to discuss the issues.”

Mengal added that the PTI had signed two agreements with the party at the time of government formation after the 2018 elections and later during the presidential election, but no point of the agreement was put into effect. artwork.
