Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman expressed his desire to visit Pakistan during his meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who is on a two-day official visit to the kingdom to participate in the ‘One Water Summit’.
The two leaders agreed to bring a qualitative change in economic, trade and investment relations between the two countries.
Both leaders expressed satisfaction over the pace of progress in the implementation of the Saudi memorandums of understanding and agreements regarding investments in Pakistan.
Prime Minister Shehbaz thanked the Crown Prince for his most sincere affection towards the people of Pakistan. He reiterated his invitation to the crown prince to visit Pakistan as soon as possible. The crown prince responded that he was looking forward to his visit to Pakistan.
In his speech, the Saudi Crown Prince stressed the importance of ensuring that the two countries strengthen meaningful cooperation that will lead to economic growth and prosperity in Pakistan.
The Crown Prince expressed his great pleasure in meeting the Pakistani Prime Minister for the fifth time in the last six months. He said this demonstrates the true love and affection that unites the people of the two countries.
Meanwhile, in his social media post X, Prime Minister Shehbaz said that frequent high-level exchanges between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia pave the way for mutually beneficial economic cooperation between the two countries.
He said he had the pleasure and honor of meeting his brother, the Saudi Crown Prince, on the sidelines of the One Water Summit in Riyadh.
Shehbaz said, “We reaffirmed our strong brotherly ties and discussed ways to further strengthen our trade and investment cooperation.
The Prime Minister said he was grateful for the Crown Prince’s personal interest and support in establishing closer ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, for the benefit of our people.
