The police in Colombia announced the arrest this week of a woman nicknamed “The Doll,” who local media reported was a notorious hitwoman employed by a criminal gang linked to multiple murders in the country.

Police of the Magdalena Medio region posted a video on social media this week showing the woman, identified by local media Northern Journal like Karen Juliet Ojeda Rodríguez, 22, in police custody with a suspect.

Police said the woman – identified as “La Muñeca” or “La Poupée” – and the suspect she identified as “Leopoldo,” were arrested for possession of a 9mm handgun , which was subject to ballistic tests. to determine if it had been used in crimes committed in the town of Barrancabermeja.

Lt. Col. Mauricio Herrera called the arrests “important results in the fight against murder.”
