A man identifying himself as American Travis Timmerman told CBS News’ Elizabeth Palmer that he was released from a Syrian prison earlier this week as rebel forces overthrew longtime dictator Bashar al-Assad. Timmerman said he was held for seven months. Palmer has more just outside Damascus.
