ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Karachi on Wednesday for a day-long visit during which he will attend various important meetings.

Received by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Governor Kamran Tessori, the Prime Minister will visit the South Asia-Pakistan terminal of the Karachi Port Trust during his visit to the port city.

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the faceless customs valuation system of the Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR), which aims to bring transparency in customs clearance.

The visit will also include Prime Minister Shehbaz’s visit to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, where he will attend a ceremony honoring the exchange for being recognized as the second best performing stock exchange in the world in 2024.

The Prime Minister, during his visit, is also accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Ministers Muhammad Aurangzeb, Attaullah Tarar and Ali Pervez Malik and Health Coordinator Dr Mukhtar Bharat.
