The Karachi Traffic Police announced a diversion plan to manage traffic flow for the Youm-e-Wiladat Hazrat Ali (RA) procession, which is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
The procession, which will begin at Tibet Center and end at Soldier Bazar, will result in road closures in several key areas.
MA Jinnah Road will be blocked from Tibet Center to Guru Mandir, as well as adjacent streets.
Shahrah-e-Qaideen will also be closed at Khudadad signal, although Khudadad bridge in Saddar will remain open.
Drivers traveling along Bahadur Yar Jang Road towards the tower are advised to take alternative routes via Soldier Bazar No 1 Signal, Coast Guard and Anklesaria Hospital Signal.
Those traveling from Shahrah-e-Qaideen to Naumaish Chowrangi or MA Jinnah Road should deviate via Ayesha Aziz Chowrangi to PP Chowrangi, and Society Light Signal commuters should follow the route from Khudadad Colony Bridge to Empress Market .
For those traveling from Fresco to Naumaish Chowrangi, the Eidgah Chowk route via Jubilee and Nishtar Road is recommended, or alternatively, from Tibet Center to Regal Chowk.
Additionally, traffic from Fawara Chowk to Garden Nishtar Road is expected to flow towards Abdullah Haroon Road.
From Paradise Signal, drivers can either go left to the passport office or right to Empress Market.
For those traveling from Garden Baghicha to Aga Khan III Highway, the suggested route passes through Anklesaria to Gul Plaza and Tibet Chowk.
