Bangladesh military officials express interest in JF-17 Thunder fighter jet Blogging Sole

A high-level defense delegation from Bangladesh visited Pakistan on Wednesday and met Pakistan Air Force (PAF) chief Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu.

The delegation, led by Lieutenant General SM Qamarul Hassan, Principal Staff Officer, Bangladesh Armed Forces Division, expressed keen interest in Pakistan’s advanced military equipment, particularly the JF- fighter jets. 17Thunder.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting took place at the Air Headquarters in Islamabad, where both sides discussed ways to strengthen military ties and improve cooperation between their air forces .

Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to deepening its military partnership with Bangladesh, with emphasis on joint training programs and expanding collaboration opportunities.

Lt Gen Hassan lauded Pakistan Air Force’s modern initiatives, advanced technology and indigenously developed technical cadres. He was particularly interested in the production of the JF-17 Thunder aircraft, as well as other modern military equipment.

The meeting highlighted the two countries’ commitment to strengthening military cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations.
