Palm Beach: US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that cars would remain about 25%, with more details on the issue that should be announced on April 2.

On Friday, Trump said that the samples from the cars would come on April 2, the day after the follow -up of his cabinet would be submitted to him describing options for a range of import rights while he seeks to reshape the global trade.

Trump has long stressed what he calls the unfair treatment of American automobile exports on foreign markets.

The European Union, for example, receives a tariff of 10% on vehicle imports, four times the American rate of passenger cars of 2.5%. The United States, however, receive a 25% rate on very profitable imported vans.

Trump also said on Tuesday that sectoral prices on pharmaceutical products and semiconductor fleas would also start 25% in April, with at least a certain amount in the year.

Since its inauguration, Trump has imposed a tariff of 10% on all imports from China, in addition to existing withdrawals. He also announced, then delayed a month, 25% of prices on Mexico goods and non -energy imports in Canada.

It also set a start date of March 12 for 25% prices on all imported steel and aluminum. Last week, he ordered his economic team to design plans of reciprocal prices on each country that taxed imports.
