
On Friday, at least eight people were killed and two more injured in a critical way after their van plunged into a ravine in the Kasur district.
The accident took place near Khara Morr on Raiwind Road. The passengers of the unhappy van were members of a music group. They were on the way back of Raiwind after having held a function.
Rescue officials said the accident occurred when the vehicle left the road and crashed into the water.
Rescue officials also said that the accident had taken place due to the negligence of the driver who was probably in the lead by driving.
The emergency teams rushed to the scene and transferred the bodies and the injured to the Bulleh Shah district hospital.
Hospital sources said two of the injured are in critical condition.
The police said Geo News that the surveys had been launched and the identification process had been launched.
