
Rawalpindi: Adiala prison authorities organized a telephone conversation between the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI), Imran Khan and his sons in the light of judicial orders, said the lawyer for the Former first Chaudhry lawyer.
Chaudhry informed development journalists outside of Adiala prison.
An above-effect arrangement was made after the PTI politicians, earlier this month, allegedly alleged that their founder of the party, who has been behind bars since August 2023, languished in an isolated manner and denied visitors.
The former leaders of the ruling party also accused the prison authorities of retaining most of the legitimate amenities, which, according to them, the founder of the PTI deserved as a former Prime Minister of the country.
On January 28, the main central-i Shahrukh Arjumand special judge accepted, for humanitarian land, the advocacy of Khan seeking the aforementioned installations.
Meanwhile, the High Court of Islamabad (IHC) had also ordered the prison authorities to organize the WhatsApp call, in addition to commanding the medical control of the founder of the PTI by his doctor, The news reported.
It should be noted that the chief judge of the IHC, Aamer Farooq, heard the petition looking for the above installations on January 23 and ordered the authorities to allow Khan to meet his wife, Bushra Bibi, and managers policies in accordance with prison rules.
During this hearing, Khan’s lawyer argued that the facilities had been withdrawn despite the judicial orders. However, a television and additional newspapers were restored after the court took note.
The CJ of the IHC inquired about the procedure for WhatsApp calls, to which the prison authorities replied that they had organized a meeting under the directives of the courts of first instance for humanitarian reasons.
Before postponing the hearing, the CJ of the IHC ordered the prison authorities to obtain directives from the Superintendent of Adiala prison and to appear in the court.
