The crown prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed reiterated the support of the United Arab Emirates to the economic development and prosperity of Pakistan while the two countries have signed agreements to stimulate bilateral links.
The declaration came when the crown prince undertook a day visit to Pakistan on Thursday, during which he held a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and discussed issues of bilateral interest.
It was the first official visit to Sheikh Khalid in Pakistan as a crown prince.
The PM Shehbaz warmly welcomed the crown prince of Abu Dhabi while reaffirming the determination of Pakistan to further strengthen the historical and fraternal links between Pakistan and water.
The individual meeting between the two leaders was followed by talks at the delegation level.
Recalling his most productive meeting with Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi earlier this month, the Prime Minister declared that it was a huge satisfaction that the two countries were now working more closely than ever, to transform their excellent political links into a mutually beneficial economic partnership.
Prime Minister Shehbaz said that during his recent visit to Uzbekistan, the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistanis project was discussed and that Uzbekistan has shown great interest in the project.
He added that the project will benefit the ports of Gwadar and Abu Dhabi and would prove to change the situation for the whole region.
The PM praised the coherent and strong support for water in Pakistan in various fields, including at difficult times.
He deeply appreciated the lively interest manifested by the United Arab Emirates in the widening of his investment portfolio in Pakistan and pointed out that the recent successful investment initiatives between various Pakistani entities and the ports of Abu Dhabi were a brilliant example of this robust and constant expansion cooperation.
On this occasion, the two leaders also witnessed the exchange of several memoranda of understanding between the two parties. Mous / agreements have been signed in the fields of banking, mining, infrastructure and railway development.

Zardari greets the unwavering support of the water
In addition, the crown prince also held a meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari in Aiwan-E-Sadr in which they reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen bilateral links.

The President of the Pakistan Party Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, First Lady Asefa Bhutto Zardari, Vice-Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and senior officials attended the meeting.
Welcoming the Crown Prince, the president said that Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates enjoyed long -standing people to links and culturals covering more than three generations, and underlined the need to transmit this heritage to future generations to further consolidate the historical link.
He expressed the appreciation of Pakistan for the unwavering support of the United Arab Emirates in Pakistan and cooperation in various sectors.
The president stressed the importance of promoting narrower economic and commercial relations and invited investors to water to explore new opportunities in the emerging sectors of Pakistan.
Crown prince Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed reiterated the water commitment to strengthen his cooperation with Pakistan.
