Peshawar:
The government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) urged the federal government to approve its proposed reference conditions (twists) for negotiations with Afghanistan.
The KP CM advisor on information and public relations, Dr. Saif stressed that any additional delay in the approval of these twists should be avoided.
The lawyer, Dr. Saif, stressed that the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government intended to send a delegation to Afghanistan on an urgent basis. He reaffirmed that the safety and safety guarantee of the residents of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has remained the absolute priority and responsibility of the government.
He also criticized the federal government to politicize such a crucial question instead of focusing on the efforts to fight terrorism in the province. The KP CM advisor noted that the federal government was not opposed to foreign visits to the chief ministers of Punjab and Sindh.
Referring to previous diplomatic commitments, Barrister, Dr. Saif, asked why the initiative of the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to engage with Afghanistan on the issue of terrorism is hampered when Maryam Nawaz can engage in “SMOG diplomacy” with India. He warned that the double standard of the federal government deepened the feeling of deprivation of the province.
He urged the federal government to cease to unjustly treat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying that the province is an integral part of Pakistan. He called on the federal authorities to approach the grievances of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and to provide him with the necessary support to effectively fight terrorism.
