Pakistan Secretary General Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI), Salman, Akram Raja, said on Wednesday that his party formulated a strategy to organize peaceful demonstrations and public gatherings in the country, arguing that the country’s policy is not a “guerrilla war”.

“We are going to move forward with wisdom and planning,” said Raja in a statement today. He added that they had no intention of taking the law in their hands.

Responding to criticisms by certain districts in the management of the PTI, Raja described the “disbelievers” who question the main leaders of not having established a protest camp outside the prison of Adiala de Rawalpindi for the release of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The principal lawyer said that his party would not take any measures that could turn against him, adding that they did not intend to break the law.

He also said that the former ruling party would not act at the request of anyone or to someone else’s order.

Excluding the bustle possibilities, Raja said that national policy was not a kind of “gorilla war”. He added that his party would prepare a strategy for future demonstrations to protect the life of workers.

Since the ouster of Khan du Power, the PTI has organized a series of anti -government demonstrations in the past, they have ended up suddenly following violent clashes between the demonstrators and the police.

The party’s protest after Khan’s arrest in 2023 became violent because several government and military facilities were targeted by the demonstrators on May 9, causing arrests and military trials of the accused.

The country once again attended ferocious clashes between the police and the demonstrators when PTI organized a protest rally on November 26, 2024 in Islamabad.

Raja continued saying that he was “very clear on what the founder of the PTI wants” after having held a separate meeting with the former prison of Adiala prison in the presence of Bushra Bibi. However, he refused to disclose the details of the meeting with the media.

The secretary general of the PTI reiterated that he would not bring the founder out of the party via a type of agreement only but through the law and the constitution.

He called the questions raised against the management of the PTI for the lack of effort for the release of Khan “provocative”. However, he resumed his statement following the protest of journalists for calling their “provocation” questions.

He said there was a fight in the country for democracy and human rights. Anyone who joins the struggle will not be of service, said Raja and invited Jamiat Ulema-E-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) and other opposition parties to join the PTI.

It is relevant to mention here that the party founded Imran Khan accelerated the efforts to form a large opposition alliance to launch an anti-government movement after Eid Ul Fitr after the directives of the founder of the incarcerated party.

The coalition of several opposition parties, under the banner of Tehreek Tahafuz Ayeen-E-Pakistan (TTAP), also held their two-day conference last month.

The opposition alliance highlighted the need for national dialogue to provoke the country of economic and political crises in the midst of the “aggravation” situation.

The Moot held the general elections “faked” on February 8, 2024 responsible for the economic, political and social crises underway with which the country faced.

The opposition theater asked to abolish all the amendments that contradict the spirit of the Constitution. The conference described the “crawling violation of constitutional rights and human rights” a complete negation of the rule of law in the country.
