
Dubai: Pakistan exports to the United Arab Emirates (water) experienced 28% growth during the current financial year, reaching $ 1.2 billion between July 2024 and February 2025.
This announcement was made by Ali Zaib, Pakistani sales and commercial advisor in Dubai, while speaking to a Suhoor rally organized by the Pakistan Consulate and Pakistan Business Council.
Zaib stressed that this significant increase reflects Pakistan’s efforts to strengthen business links with water, export volumes exceeding last year’s figures by a significant margin.
The Rally of Suhoor, held at the Pakistan Association Dubai, aimed to invite foreign diplomats and the business councils registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce to participate in the next Pakistan fair. The event sought to present the commercial potential of Pakistan and to attract investments by international companies.
Hussain Mohammed, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, reassured foreign delegates of complete cooperation for investors interested in exploring opportunities in Pakistan.
He underlined the government’s commitment to facilitate commercial partnerships and promote economic collaboration.
Shabbir Merchant, president of Pakistan Business Council in Dubai, announced that a delegation of foreign investors in Dubai will participate in the Mega Trade Show planned in Lahore.
He said the event would provide an ideal platform to explore investment opportunities in various sectors of the Pakistani economy.
The fourth edition of health, engineering and minerals (HEM) will show that 2025 will take place in Lahore from April 17 to 19, 2025.
The event will focus on the presentation of Pakistan’s capacities in these key sectors, offering a platform to national and international companies to connect and collaborate.
