The session of the National Assembly revealed that some Pakistani citizens have submitted false diplomas, diplomas and employment contracts to obtain visas for the United Arab Emirates (Water), reported Express News.
The session, chaired by agent president Abdul Qadir Patel, discussed increasing concerns concerning the limited issuance of water visas for Pakistani citizens. During questions, it has been revealed that several people had submitted documents forged in their visa requests.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that some Pakistani workers had exceeded their visas, while others had been involved in political and criminal activities. In addition, some people were found abused with social media platforms, contributing to the stricter examination and the restrictions imposed.
In response, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Ishaq Dar, said in a written response that the water authorities had informed Pakistan that there was no official Visa restriction on Pakistani citizens. He added that the water had introduced a five-year visa program, which forces candidates to provide round-trip tickets, hotel reservations, proof of property and a pre-payment of 3,000 dirhams.
This disclosure highlights increasing concerns concerning fraudulent activities in visa demands and the subsequent impact on the emission of water visas for Pakistani citizens.
