  • Rana says that the Afghan government has provided terrorists with security shelters.
  • Session to develop strategies against Afghanistan becoming the tool of India.
  • “Coas, DG ISI to attend the camera session, brief legislators.”

As all eyes are on the camera meeting of the parliamentary commission on national security, the Prime Minister’s help on politics and public Rana Sanaullah said that civil and military management would deliberate on a strategy to prevent Afghanistan from becoming a “proxy” state.

The rare session of the Parliament in the camera is expected to take place Tuesday at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, in which military officials will inform legislators of the dominant security situation in the country in the context of the recent deadly terrorist attacks.

Speaking on Geo News Program “AAJ Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath”, the leader of PML-N in power noted that the session will concentrate not only on convincing it of Afghanistan to maintain neutrality, but would also discuss the future action plan if Kabul refuses to accept Pakistan’s demand to refuse activists to operate.

The session in the camera comes in the context of the rise in terrorism in Pakistan, including a great terrorist attack on a traveler train in the Mushqaf region in the Bolan district in Balutchistan.

Dozens of activists, affiliated with the Balutchistan Liberation Army (Bla), exploded a railroad and attacked Jaffar Express on Tuesday, transporting more than 440 passengers – who were taken hostage.

The security forces, after a complex clearance operation, neutralized 33 attackers and saved the passengers hostage.

In addition to five operational victims, up to 26 passengers were martyred by terrorists, 18 of whom were security staff belonging to the Pakistani army and the body front (FC), three were officials from the Pakistani railways and other departments, and five were civilians.

Addressing the media following the culmination of the operation of the security forces, the director general of inter-service public relations (DG ISPR), General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, revealed that the terrorists were in contact with their managers in Afghanistan.

The remarks of LT -Gen Chaudhry reflect the position of Islamabad which again urged Kabul to prevent its soil from being used by terrorist organizations against Pakistan – something that was supported by the statistics of a recent report on global terrorism 2025.

During today’s program, Sanaullah said that the acting Afghan government provided terrorists in safety shelters, where they form, plan and carry out attacks. “These terrorists receive funds from India,” he said, promising that their shelters are eliminated in a few weeks and months.

Asked about Afghanistan’s cooperation in the fight against terrorism, he said that military management pursued a multidimensional policy and would ask for the comments of the civil management on how to dissuade Afghanistan from acting as an indirect indicator or to become a weapon in the hands of India.

However, he said that the problem would be resolved in one way or another, noting that Afghanistan’s refusal to comply does not equivalent to a dead end. “There are a lot of outings at our disposal,” he said.

In response to a question, Sanaullah said that the Chief of Staff of the Army (COAS) Asim Munnir and his team, including the Director General of Public Relations (ISPR) (DG) Asim Malik and other people will attend the meeting and one of the team members would inform the legislators.

In addition, the help of the PM noted that military management would also receive comments from the civil management at the meeting. “If something emerges in the meeting that requires (president of the PML-N and Triple Prime Minister) Nawaz Sharif to play a role, he is fully ready to do so,” he added.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balutchistan, which both share borders with neighboring Afghanistan, have faced most of the terrorist attacks – the two provinces representing more than 96% of terrorist attacks and deaths in Pakistan in 2024 according to a global report on terrorism 2025.

Pti asks for a meeting with Imran Khan

In addition, Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) demanded a meeting with its founder incarcerated Imran Khan to consult during the high-level camera meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 18.

In this regard, the chief whip of the PTI, Amir Dogar, met the president of the NA, the minister of Law Azam Nazeer Tarar and the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and demanded that a parliamentary delegation of three members be authorized to meet Pti Founder for instructions.

In a statement, Dogar said that Sadiq and other ministers assured them to contact the authorities concerned and organize the meeting with the founder of the party, Imran Khan, imprisoned in Adiala prison. “No successful policy can be obtained without the support of Imran,” he added.

He noted that the PTI is looking for a policy on terrorism and foreign affairs, which has the support of the founder incarcerated from the PTI. “Imran has always had a clear position on terrorism, military operations and foreign policy,” he added.

However, DOGAR said that the PTI would not leave the field empty for the government if the meeting is not organized.

Likewise, the opposition chief at the National Assembly Omar Ayub also wrote a letter to the President of NA, demanding a meeting with Imran.
