Peshawar: Police managed to repel several terrorist attacks on police stations and control posts through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, thwarting activists attempts in various districts in the last two nights.

According to the central police office, terrorist attacks have been reported to Bannu, Karak, Dera Ismail Khan, Tank and Peshawar, where the police were courageously at the attack.

The security forces have also carried out operations, destroying a Tehreek-E-Taliban (TTP) outlaw camp and temporary hiding places in the mountainous region between Lakki Marwat, Karak and Mianwali.

In Peshawar, the unidentified attackers launched a hand grenade at the Regi police control station. However, no victim has been reported and a research operation was launched to find the authors.

Meanwhile, in Lakki Marwat, terrorists targeted the Gambila police station in two directions, but the rapid response force (QRF) quickly retaliated to force the attackers to flee.

The fire exchange lasted 15 minutes, forcing the terrorists to flee without causing victims, said Lakki Marwat Dpo Jawwad Ishaq.

In the bypass of Khyber in Jamrud, the activists attacked a security checkpoint Bara Rifles, but the security personnel postponed the assault. Two security personnel were injured during the fire and a research operation was launched in the region.

Meanwhile, in counter-terrorist operations, the police killed two terrorists in Lakki Marwat and Karak. After being postponed, activists attacked the Abbas Khatak checkpoint.

In Tank, the police killed a terrorist and injured several others in retaliation after an attack on the Nasran control station. In Karak, the security forces eliminated terrorist commander Kashif Shakar Khel, linked to the Kaleemullah group.

According to the central police office, a courageous and devoted Asi, Noor Salam, was martyred by an elite shooter during an operation in Karak.

The authorities have intensified research operations in the affected areas to apprehend the remaining activists.
