Jamiat chief Ulema-E-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Hafiz Hussain Ahmed, died Wednesday after an extension, confirmed his son Munnir Ahmed.
Ahmed suffered from a kidney disease for a long time, he said.
His son said that an announcement concerning the prayer and funeral of the funeral of the JUI-F leader will serve later.
The head of Jui-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed his sorrow about the death of the politician and the senior clerk. “A chapter of Beautiful Memories ended with the death of Hafiz Hussain Ahmed,” he added.
He described the late leader as a sage and an ideological parliamentary chief.
