Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the nations did not progress in International Monetary Fund Programs (IMF), stressing that the stability that Pakistan needs has already been carried out.
Speaking during the launching ceremony of the Prime Minister’s digital hub, he reiterated that the Loan of $ 1 billion in the IMF is not the earned income from Pakistan but has borrowed funds.
He expressed hope that it would be the last program of the country’s IMF in history. “We must transform this existence of debt into a life of dignity and honor by skills and hard work,” said the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Shehbaz also undertook to reduce public spending while making substantial investments in the training of the young generation, saying that “we will devote billions and even billions for their future”.
The Prime Minister said that during his time as a chief minister of Punjab, he had disbursed 400,000 laptops among students who were major sters in their schools and colleges. “It was the vision he worked hard,” he said.
The Prime Minister stressed that young people in Pakistan were a challenge and a great opportunity.
“If we provide the training of modern technologies of information and artificial intelligence technologies (AI), they can contribute a lot to the development and prosperity of Pakistan,” he said.
The President of the Prime Minister of Jeunes, Rana Mashood Ahmed Khan, said that the government opened up new opportunities to empower the young people in the country.
He said that through the Digital Hub PM, young people would take advantage in various sectors, including sport, tourism, sports, IT, green economy and others.
The head of the United Nations Emergency Fund (UNICEF), Sharmeela Rasol, said that it was an opportunity and hope platform. She said this program was aimed at making young people stronger and a productive people in the country.
The UN resident coordinator Muhammad Yahya said that the digital youth center was ready to make young people able to explore their capacities. This is the start of a development and prosperity trip for Pakistan, he added.
