Islamabad: President of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, strongly condemned the suicide attack on the long march led by the leader of the National-Mégal (BNP-M) of Balutchistan, Sardar Akhtar Mengal.
Bilawal expressed a deep concern in the face of the attack, which took place at Lak Pass in Mastung, targeting the long march of Mengal. He ordered the chief minister of Balutchistan, Sarfraz Bugti, and the authorities to translate the brains behind this bombardment suicide in justice.
The suicide bomber has exploded explosives near the BNP-M protest site in Lak Pass, about 30 kilometers from Quetta. Fortunately, Akhtar Mengal and other party leaders escaped unharmed.
Sources confirm that the explosion occurred at a distance from the BNP-M sit-in, and no victim has been reported among the party leaders and supporters.
The authorities have launched an investigation into the attack, while political leaders continue to condemn violence, calling for greater security measures.
