Peshawar: In order to repair internal divisions, the president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI), the lawyer Gohar, launched talks with the key personalities of the party and exhorted them to work towards reconciliation, The news reported Wednesday.

Following his efforts, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur, the former president of the national assembly Asad Qaiser, Atif Khan and Shahram Tarakai agreed to end hostile statements, accusations, grievances and internal conflicts.

Last week, KP Minister of Chief Gandapur held a meeting with the founder of the PTI, Imran Khan, in Adiala prison, and later at a press conference, said that the founder of the PTI had ordered him not to issue provincial assembly tickets for Asad Qaiser, Atif Khan, and Shahram Tarakai, marking them.

The shocking declaration of the provincial leader of management has intensified tensions within the party, leading to calls from various PTI leaders for an investigation and a special committee to investigate Gandapur’s remarks.

Following this controversy, the president of the Barrister Gohar party, Imran’s sister Aleema Khan, the main lawyer Salman Akram Raja and Shaukat Yousafzai intervened to contain the situation. Barrister Gohar now claims that he has managed to convince unhappy leaders to reconcile.

According to sources, the president of the PTI held a meeting with Gandapur, Qaiser, Atif and Tarakai, during which the KP CM agreed to resolve the differences with other leaders. Likewise, Qaiser, Atif and Tarakai also agreed to end internal disputes.

Addressing the media, Barrister Gohar said he had made efforts to settle internal fruits within the party and that Gandapur had expressed his desire to resolve things. He stressed that disagreements were normal in the major political parties and did not necessarily mean a break. However, leaders acknowledged that unresolved disputes could worsen the situation.

Meanwhile, KP’s government spokesperson Barrister Saif said that opponents should not be subject to an illusion by exaggerating differences in differences within the PTI.

He added that the level of discord within the Shari family far exceeds that of PTI, with a constant struggle of power in progress. The PPP, he said, should also worry about who is the real political heir to Bhutto heritage.
