Pakistan President Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI), lawyer Gohar Ali Khan, firmly refused reports suggesting that the party was engaged in political negotiations, calling the “false and baseless” media.
In an exclusive conversation with NewsHe rejected the stories in circulation and specifically criticized a private news channel to disseminate what he described as inaccurate information.
“I completely reject the news concerning negotiations. A private channel has released a false report, which I categorically denote,” he said.
He added that he had contacted the chain in question, which then apologized for the erroneous report. “In addition, the founding president of the Party did not give me any task linked to negotiations,” said Gohar.
Speaking directly to the media, he called responsible journalism: “I ask that before disseminating news, always confirms the facts by looking for the version of the person concerned.”
Echoing his declaration, a spokesperson for PTI also published an official refutation. “Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf firmly denies all reports circulating in so-called sources concerning any meeting between our Imran Khan chief and President Barrister Gohar.”
The party spokesman also stressed that no interaction or discussion of this type had taken place. “If Barrister Gohar’s position had been taken in advance, such confusion could have been avoided. None of the reported reports has real,” the statement said.
PTI also condemned reports as part of a deliberate disinformation campaign. “These stories about negotiations are part of a propaganda effort organized against PTI,” concluded the spokesperson.
