In a tragic incident, eight Pakistani motor mechanisms were killed in the Iranian province of Sistan near the Pakistani-Iranian border.

All the victims were from the Bahawalpur district and were employed in a local workshop specializing in painting, polishing and repairing vehicles.

The deceased was identified as Dilshad, his son Naeem, Jaffer, Danish, Nasir and others.

According to local sources, unidentified attackers stormed the workshop during the night, attached the hands of the mechanics and opened fire, killing them on the spot.

Iranian security forces have completed the area and recovered the bodies. The attackers remain unidentified. However, no group has yet claimed the responsibility of the murder.

The first reports suggest that the attack may have been led by an anti-Pakistani terrorist group. The Iranian authorities have launched an investigation into the tearing incident, but no arrest has been carried out so far.

Managers of the Pakistan Embassy in Tehran reached the site to identify the victims and collect more information.

A spokesman for the embassy confirmed that they were in constant contact with the Iranian authorities and assured that all efforts would be made to ensure justice for the families of the victims.

It should be noted that a similar attack occurred in January 2024, when nine Pakistani workers were killed in Sistan province by unknown attackers.
