  • RS7.47 per drop in liter expected in kerosene oil.
  • The light diesel level can witness a decrease in RS7.21.
  • The Govt reduced petrol by Re1 per liter last month.

Karachi: Prices of petroleum products should decrease more than RS8 per liter in the next bimonthly magazine on April 15 in the midst of oil rate fluctuations in international markets, sources within oil companies have been informed Geo News.

By referring to consumer relief in shock in the middle of arrow inflation, the sources said that the price of gasoline likely to drop to Rs8.27 per liter, while the diesel rate can see a reduction in RS7 per liter.

Likewise, a drop in RS7.47 per liter is expected in kerosene oil and a decrease in RS7.21 per liter of the light diesel rate, they added.

This would be a major drop in prices for petroleum products in Pakistan following a downward trend in world oil rates.

Last month, the federal government announced a drop in re1 per liter of petrol prices for two weeks.

After the drop, the price of gasoline was set at RS254,63 per liter, reflecting a decrease of RS255.63. However, the government has maintained the price of high -speed diesel (HSD) unchanged at Rs258.64 per liter.

The federal government had already maintained oil prices on March 15 for the fortnight.

Petrol is mainly used in private transport, small vehicles, ripe pousses and two-wheelers. The increase in fuel prices has a significant impact on the budgets of the members of the middle and lower classes, which mainly consume petrol for travel.

On the other hand, an important part of the transport sector is based on high -speed diesel.

Its price is considered to be inflationary because it is mainly used in heavy products transport vehicles, trucks, buses, trains and agricultural machines such as tractors, tube wells and batteries. The consumption of high -speed diesel contributes particularly to the increase in vegetable prices and other foods.
