Deir al-Balah, Gaza Strip – An Israeli air strike hit the northern door on Tuesday of a country hospital in the Gaza Strip, killing a doctor and injuring 10 other people, the hospital Director said. The strike that struck the Kuwaitian hospital in the Muwasi region was the second in a Gaza health establishment in three days, coming after the last major hospital still providing intensive care in the Palestinian enclave was struck on Sunday in an attack that the United Nations left it “out of service”.
Israel attacks in Gaza have continued for almost a month since the country has abandoned a ceasefire with Hamas which had been negotiated by the United States, Egypt and Qatar. The efforts to conclude a new cease-fire agreement have made little apparent progress since then, although Hamas said it was considering a new proposal from Israel this week.
Several press agencies have cited Hamas officials saying that Israel had offered a 45 -day stop in the fighting in exchange for the release of hostages. But the officials of the Hamas cited by several press agencies reiterated that it would not be a cease-fire agreement without commitment to Israel to end the war and withdraw the forces of Gaza. Hamas officials would also have declared that Israel had included a request for the group to accept to disarm – something that a representative said: “is not to discussions.”
The Israeli government had not confirmed the new offer in Hamas on Tuesday afternoon.

Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians had sought a shelter in tentacular tent camps around the Kuwaiti hospital, but the injured in Tuesday strike were all patients and doctors, including two patients who were left in critical condition, the spokesman for Saber Mohammed.
There was no immediate comments from the Israeli defense forces during Tuesday’s strike. The FDI has bombed the hospitals several times during the 18-month war, accusing Hamas, which has long been appointed a terrorist group by the United States and Israel, of hiding or using them for military purposes. The staff of the Hamas and Gazan hospital denied the allegations and accused Israel of having endangered civilians recklessly and of deliberately emptying the health system of the territory.
On Sunday, Israel struck the Al-Ahli hospital in Gaza City after ordering an evacuation. The United Nations said that a child with a child with a head trauma died during the evacuation, and that the strike seriously damaged the emergency room, the pharmacy and the surrounding buildings.
The Al Ahli hospital “is out of service”, the director general of the UN World Health Program Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a tweet, adding: “Hospitals are protected by international humanitarian law. Attacks on health care should stop.

The spokesman for the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres echoes this feeling, saying: “Under international humanitarian, injured and patient, medical and medical staff, including hospitals, must be respected and protected”, according to the Reuters news agency.
The episcopal diocese of Jerusalem, who heads the hospital, also sentenced the strike.
Israel said that it had targeted a Hamas command and control center in the installation, without providing evidence. Hamas has denied allegations.
Israel’s reprisal offensive killed more than 51,000 people, according to a updated toll published Tuesday by the Gaza Ministry of Health. This includes more than 1,600 people killed since Israel put an end to the ceasefire and resumed its offensive last month to put pressure on Hamas to accept the changes in the agreement. The ministry is led by health professionals but falls under the government managed by Hamas in Gaza. His number of victims is considered generally reliable by United Nations agencies and independent experts, although Israel has challenged his number. Israel says he killed some 20,000 activists without providing evidence.
The ministry does not say how much civilians or combatants were, but says that women and children represent more than half of the dead. The offensive destroyed a large part of the territory and moved around 90% of its population of around 2 million Palestinians.
The war was launched by the terrorist attack on October 7, 2023 against Israel, which killed some 1,200 people, mainly civilians, and saw 251 other hostages in Gaza. Israeli officials say that 59 of these hostages remain in Gaza, 24 of which are still considered alive, after most of the others have been released in cease-fire agreements or other agreements.
