Karachi: Despite the restoration of flight operations in all airports across the country, including Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, significant disturbances are felt due to administrative problems.
According to the flight calendar, a total of 149 flights planned for today have been canceled from various airports. Islamabad saw the cancellation of 42 flights, Lahore 36 and Karachi 34.
In addition, 11 flights in Siackot, eight in Multan, six in Faisalabad, eight in Peshawar and four in Quetta were also canceled.
Sources have indicated that since the resumption of flight operations, only six flights have been able to operate from Karachi airport.
Airport closings one day had a general impact, affecting around 400 flights, with 130 cancellations and 24 flights diverted to alternative airports.

One day, the flight calendar was seriously disturbed while airports were suspended from flight operations for several hours. The flight operations remained suspended for almost eight hours due to increased tensions between Pakistan and India in the main airports of the country, including Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi.
