- DG ISPR warns India from consequences if it blocks water.
- We never bow to assault and tyranny: Lieutenant-General Chaudhry.
- “All this terrorism in Pakistan was supported by India.”
The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), lieutenant-general Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, reaffirmed that the absolute priority of the country was peace following a recent military conflict with India, but warned that Pakistan would neither be dissuaded nor forced.
“The truth is that India is not the United States and Pakistan is not Afghanistan. India is not Israel and Pakistan is not Palestine,” said the army spokesperson speaking to Anadoli agency.
“We will never tilt ourselves against Indian hegemony. The sooner they realize it, the better for regional peace and the world,” he noted.
He made these remarks a few days after the success of the Bunyan-UM-Marsoos operation against the uninsured aggression of India.
The armed forces of Pakistan launched a large-scale military reprisal action, called “Operation Bunyan-Um-Marsoos”, and targeted several Indian military targets in several regions.
The strikes, described by managers as “precise and proportionate”, were carried out in response to the continuous aggression of India through the control line (LOC) and in the territory of Pakistan, which said New Delhi was targeting the “terrorist targets”.
Pakistan has shot down its six fighter planes, including three bursts and dozens of drones. After at least 87 hours, the war between the two nuclear nations ended on May 10 with a cease-fire agreement negotiated by the United States.
According to ISPR, a total of 53 people, including 13 staff of the armed forces and 40 civilians, were martyred in Indian strikes during the recent military confrontation.
The military confrontation between the two countries was launched by the attack last month in Jammu and Kashmir (Iiojk), was the subject of 26 tourists, accusing Pakistan for the attack without offering.
Addressing the Turkish news agency today, Lieutenant-General Chaudhry said that India had provided no evidence in support of his allegations to blame Pakistan for the attack in the PAHALGAM district, adding that the government of New Delhi “used incidents as an excuse for terrorism” and should abandon it.
He argued that terrorism, extremism and hatred were the internal problems of India and that the government of New Delhi reprimanded groups such as Muslims and Sikhs in the country, which fueled more anger, extremism and terrorism.
He stressed that all this terrorism in Pakistan was “supported and encouraged” by India. “There is a lot of evidence connecting India to terrorist incidents in Pakistan,” he said, recalling that they had sent these evidence to the International Court of Justice.
“If provoked, the answer will be fast”
Recalling that India had attacked different parts of Pakistan with missiles and drones, the CEO ISPR said: “They tried to prevent us from taking revenge on the murder of innocent children and women, but they have forgotten that we are not a nation or a state that cannot be dissuaded or warned.
He said that Pakistan wants peace and is in favor of peace, but if there are similar attacks, they will respond, adding: “If we are provoked, attacked or attacked by India, our response will be fast and hard. There should be no doubt about it.”
He added that the Pakistani army was remain by the cease-fire agreed on May 10 and would continue to do so, but would also respond to any provocation by the Indian army.
Industry Water Treaty
Furthermore, the CEO ISPR warned India long -term consequences if it was trying to block Pakistan water.
“I hope that time will not come, but it will be actions that the world will see and the consequences of what we will fight for years and decades to come. No one dares to stop water from Pakistan,” he said while addressing a private media separately.
“It is a madman who may think that he can stop water by 240 million people more from this country.”
“The armed forces of Pakistan are professional armed forces and we adhere to the commitments we make, and we follow the letter and the mind the instructions of the political government and the commitments they hold,” he added.
Indian hunting jets
According to the ISPR, India has lost six planes and an S -400 air defense system – the most advanced surface system in Russia – in the four -day conflict.
One day earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also confirmed development, saying Pakistan Air Force had shot down six Indian fighter planes, including French Warplanes Rafale planes.
“I can confirm that the sixth plane is a Mirage 2000,” said Chaudhry. “We only targeted the plane … We could have removed more, but we showed a restraint.”
