  • Bilawal thanks first for trusting him in the diplomatic task.
  • High level delegation which takes place to visit the world keys.

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Party Party President (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, called Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif asking for advice to highlight Pakistan’s position in important world capitals and put an Indian assault and a provocative program in front of the world community.

Senator Sherry Rehman and former federal minister Hina Rabbani Khar also accompanied Bilawal, whose party is a key ally of the Muslim League of Pakistan-Nawaz (PML-N), said a statement published by the Prime Minister’s office.

The president of the PPP is ready to lead a high-level delegation including key parliamentarians to world capital to present the case of Pakistan at the international level after the recent Pakistani-Indian conflict, following a terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Indian, illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Bilawal, who had previously been the country’s foreign minister under the previous PDM government, himself confirmed this development by a message on his official social media account on X.

“I was contacted earlier in the day by Prime Minister Shehbaz (Sharif), who asked to direct a delegation to present the case of Pakistan for peace on the international scene,” wrote the president of the PPP.

He also added that he was “honored to accept this responsibility and remains determined to serve Pakistan in these difficult times”.

The delegation includes Musaddiq Malik, Khurram Dastgir Khan, senator Sherry Rehman, Hina Rabbani Khar, Faisal Sabzwari, Tehmina Janjua and Jalil Abbas Jilani. The delegation will visit Washington, London, Brussels and Paris.

During today’s meeting, the PPP chief thanked the Prime Minister for trusting him with this diplomatic task and sentenced the management of the Pakistani delegation to him.

“I hope that under your management, this delegation will present the position and story of Pakistan in the world in a complete and effective way,” said the Prime Minister.

The meeting was followed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister of Climate Change Mosaddiq Malik, adviser to the Prime Minister of Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah and special assistant to Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi.

The armed forces of Pakistan launched a large-scale military reprisal action, called “Operation Bunyan-Um-Marsoos”, and targeted several Indian military installations in several regions.

The strikes, described by managers as “precise and proportionate”, were carried out in response to the continuous aggression of India through the control line (LOC) and in the territory of Pakistan, which said New Delhi was targeting the “terrorist targets”.

Pakistan has shot down six Indian fighter planes, including three bursts and dozens of drones. After at least 87 hours, the war, caused by India, ended on May 10 with a cease-fire agreement negotiated by the United States.

According to ISPR, a total of 53 people, including 13 staff of the armed forces and 40 civilians, were martyred in Indian strikes during the recent military confrontation.

The military confrontation between the two countries was launched by the attack last month in Jammu and Kashmir (Iiojk), was the subject of 26 tourists, accusing Pakistan for the attack without offering.
