Islamabad: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) recovered and disbursed 88 billion rupees during the first quarter of 2025, covering the period from January to March, the news reported on Sunday.
According to a report published by NAB on Saturday, the total includes 2.085 billion of direct recovery rupes and 86 billion indirect recovery rupees. The latter mainly involved public and private land assets linked to cases of illegal transfers and illegal occupation.
The amounts recovered were returned to the parties and institutions concerned.
Regarding indirect recovery, Nab Balochistan has recovered state land measuring 340 acres of Chiltan park and 250 acres of forest department, which results in 6.45 billion rupees.
Nab Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa obtained 0.56 billion rupees in the event that an investigation entitled against the officers / civil servants of the University of Swabi, returned and Forest Department.
Nab Lahore recovered 70.87 billion rupees in three mega business, including cooperative employees Housing Society, State Life Insurance Employed Cooperative Housing Society and Sarwar Omega Villas.
