At a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Asif Ali Zardari urged the government on Sunday to take practical and impactful measures in the upcoming budget to relieve the ordinary man.

He declared this during the meeting of the Prime Minister of the Maison du Governor Lahore to discuss the country’s dominant political and security situation.

During the meeting, the main leaders have held large discussions on national affairs, including the political climate and the country’s security challenges.

Participants also examined the results of the Prime Minister recent visits to friendly nations and their importance for foreign relations in Pakistan.

The discussion also mentioned coordination and cooperation between political allies, stressing the importance of unity in the current political landscape.

Stressing the importance of public well-being, Zardari said: “The government must take action in the upcoming budget to relieve ordinary man.”

He also underlined the need for unity among the coalition partners, declaring: “Political allies must move forward in the national interest”.

The meeting was also assisted by the president of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the Minister of the Interior Mohin Naqvi, the governor of Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan and Senator Saleem Mandviwalla.

The federal government is expected to deploy a budget budget on June 10 (Tuesday), immediately after the Eid Ult Adha holidays.

As Eid Ult Adha should fall on June 7, sources indicate that on the third day of Eid on June 9 (Monday), will have to be declared working day to host critical economic procedures.

The calendar includes the meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) and the release of the 2025 economic study on the same day.

Meanwhile, the Federal Finance Secretary, Imdadullah Bosal, rejected speculation surrounding the budget delay, claiming that the federal budget will be presented on June 10 as planned.
