Two tropical storms Trained Sunday on the two coasts of Mexico, and they should dip the region for several days.
Tropical Storm Barry, the second named Storm of this year Atlantic hurricane seasonwas located on the south-eastern coast of the country, about 50 miles in the east-south-east of Tuxpan, Mexico and around 130 miles southeast of Tampico, Mexico, according to US National Hurricane Center in Miami.
From the NHC update at 2 p.m., he had maximum sustained winds of 45 MPH and moved to the northwest to 12 mph.

Barry is expected to strengthen slightly before reaching the south-eastern coast of Mexico, before quickly weakening inland. The forecasters, who issued a tropical storm warning, said that the storm could throw three to six to six -inch with an isolated total of 10 inches through Veracruz, San Luis Potosi and Tamaulipas on Monday.
Meanwhile, off the southwest coast of Mexico, the tropical storm flossie formed on Sunday. It was located about 225 miles south of Acapulco and moved west to 9 MPH with maximum sustained winds of 40 mph.
Flossie is expected to strengthen in hurricane on Monday or Tuesday, but will remain in free water just west of Mexico, the forecasters said.

The storm could throw three to six inches of rain in Oaxaca, Guerrero, Michoacan, Colima and Jalisco until the beginning of next week.
The Pacific Hurricane season began on May 15, while the Atlantic Hurricane season is from June 1 to November 30, with advanced activity generally occurring between mid-August and mid-October.
NOAA officials predicted 60% chance of a season of the Hurricane of the Atlantic “greater than normal”, with between 13 and 19 storms called. Six to 10 of them should strengthen in hurricanes and three to five could become major hurricanes, the forecasters said.
