Islamabad: The Federal Board of Return (FBR) has launched a 120 -day free mobile registration center for Pakistanis abroad at each visit to the country.

In a press release, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) said on Tuesday that to take advantage of this advantage, visitors can use the free and automated temporary mobile registration system of the PTA, accessible by the portal of the registration and blocking system (DirBS) of the device.

This initiative aims to ensure uninterrupted mobile connectivity for Pakistanis abroad during their short stays in Pakistan, while presenting “PTA’s commitment to allow digital inclusion and ease of access”.

Recently, there were statements that PTA has given up the tax he invoiced on imported mobile phones. However, the authority called these baseless complaints.
