Islamabad: The Senate approved Tuesday the draft prevention of electronic crimes (PECA) (amendment) and the bill on Pakistan 2024 of the digital nation, aimed at creating a digital company, an economy and a governance, in the middle bustle by opposition benches.

Faraz said that the bill was not right because no stakeholder had been incorporated. Therefore, he said, they did not support it.

“Neither an organization is trained nor a judge is appointed for business (under computer science),” he added.

PTI lawyer Ali Zafar took the government for not allowing anyone to talk about the controversial bill. “You are not giving any importance to the opposition,” he added.
