Islamabad: Pakistan LNG Limited (PLL), a government company, has diverted two cargoes of ENI LNG, should arrive here in February and March at the international market.
The company will sell the two LNG cargoes on a basis of profit on the international market, said senior officials of the Ministry of Energy, The news reported.
PLL is over -term contract with Eni for 15 years under which ENI provides a cargo of LNG per month at the cost of 12.14% of the Brent. Once contacted, the management of the PLL expressed its inability to confirm it, but it did not deny the development and preferred to remain silent.
Sngpl in his letter written on January 21, 2025 to the federal government asked to divert the cargoes of LNG in 11 terms of 2025 from ENI to the international market while the power division refused to increase the use of the RLNG for the production of ‘Electricity even during the summer summit season of June, July and August.
