In response to the offer of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for negotiations, the chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI), Shibli Faraz, rejected the suggestion to form a chamber committee, declaring that he is Acts no effective approach, news said newspaper on Thursday.

Faraz criticized the PM’s position, saying that the real problem lies in the government’s attitude towards other political parties. “The proposal of a chamber committee is not a viable solution. If the government was serious about talks, a committee would have already been trained,” he said.

He said that PTI call for negotiations aimed to mitigate the current political instability in the country. “We have accepted talks to help resolve the political crisis and stabilize the country,” he said.

The head of the PTI also stressed that for any negotiations to succeed, the sincerity and the government’s commitment to the process are essential. “For the questions to reach completion, the government must demonstrate goodwill,” he said.

According to Faraz, the main objective of PTI remains on law and justice, which they are determined to continue, whatever the political challenges they face.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz had expressed his desire to resume talks with Pakistan Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI) and proposed the training of a parliamentary committee to resolve the current issues.

During a meeting of the federal cabinet, he recalled the previous talks with PTI, which started with the formation of a committee after the offer of PTI.

He mentioned that the PTI had submitted written requests through the president, to whom the government committee was to respond in writing. However, the meeting scheduled for January 28 was canceled by PTI.
