Islamabad:
Interior Minister Mohin Naqvi met his Chinese counterpart Qi Yanjun during his visit to China.
The two parties agreed to further improve information sharing.
During the meeting, the two parties also discussed cooperation to further guarantee the border between the two countries. In addition, the use of modern police technology and paramilitary forces has also been discussed.
A detailed discussion took place on the acquisition of modern equipment and technologies for the police from China.
Naqvi said Pakistan will buy modern technology and equipment for police from China.
During the meeting, cooperation with the National Police Academy was also discussed. It was decided to increase cooperation between the Beijing police and the Islamabad police. The two parties also expressed their satisfaction concerning the meeting of the joint working group held in January.
The meeting between the Minister of the Interior and his Chinese counterpart lasted two hours.
Federal Interior Minister Mohin Naqvi also invited his Chinese counterpart to visit Pakistan.
