The government officially dismissed the establishment which enabled a family member of a government deceased in service to obtain a job. In accordance with a recent decision of the Supreme Court, the establishment’s division gave instructions to all ministries and divisions to implement the decision without delay. However, an official memorandum confirms that government employees who die in service will continue to receive other advantages as part of the Prime Minister’s assistance package. The new directive will not apply to the staff of the police who are martyred in terrorist incidents.
