A bartender was arrested on Friday in Vietnam for making toxic alcohols that led to the death of a British and South African couple in January, the media said.
The couple’s bodies were found in a resort in the central city of Hoi An on December 26, without any sign of physical trauma, violence or burglary.
According to the BBCThe British citizen Greta Marie Otteson, 33, was discovered by the dead staff on a bed in a room on the first floor and her fiancé, Els Arno Quinton, 36, was found dead on a bed in another room in the villa that would have been locked up from the inside.

The police concluded that GIA had consumed 70% of medical alcohol, mixing it with water, lemonade and sugar to make Limoncello on December 24, police announced in the press release.
“After taking the drinks, the two underwent a serious poisoning in methanol, which resulted in their death,” the police press release said.

The Public Security Service of Quang Nam published a photo of an officer reading the arrest warrant against Gia, the bartender.
The case is still under investigation.
Otteson was director of social media, and Quinton was a musician, reported the BBC and a Video announcing their commitment was published on YouTube by the Red Eye Studios Videography Company in December.
A spokesperson for the UK Foreign Office said in a statement last month: “We support the family of a British woman who died in Vietnam and are in contact with local authorities.”
