On Friday, at least nine workers were killed and seven others injured in an explosion in the Harnai Shahrag region of Balutchistan, police said.
The explosion, caused by a bomb planted on the road, occurred near a vehicle carrying coal minors. The state of injured workers would be critical, said Express News.
Under-commissioner Harnai confirmed that nine workers had been killed and seven others injured in the explosion. Most of the victims came from Swat and Shangla districts.
The organizations responsible for the application of laws quickly extinguished the site and began to collect evidence.
The Balutchistan government has sentenced the attack, provincial spokesperson Shahid Rand declaring that an investigation had been launched.
He confirmed that evidence was collected and the first results suggested that the explosive equipment had been placed next to the road.
The Federal Minister of the Interior, Mohin Naqvi, also condemned bombing, expressing a deep sadness to the death of the workers.
Last week, another fatal accident in a coal mine in Darra Adam Khel cost two workers from Shangla. The two victims, Rehman Ali and Sarbali Khan, were from the regions of Dherai and Puran from the district of Shangla.
