A sampling staff was martyred while two others suffered from bully injuries after terrorists attacked a security checkpoint in the Baloutchistan Kalat district.

Terrorists fled the pre-reproduction fires of the Brave Levies staff, said a spokesperson for the provincial government, adding that the authorities concerned have launched surveys of activists’ attack.

The body of the deceased and the injured staff had been transferred to a Quetta hospital for medical-legal formalities and medical treatments, the spokesperson added.

The security forces completed the area and launched a research operation to eliminate all the other terrorists found in the region.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif firmly sentenced a terrorist attack on samples to Kalat.

The Prime Minister prayed for the high ranks of Shaheed staff and so that the bereaved family suffered the loss of force, the PM office said in a press release.

The Prime Minister also paid tribute to martyred staff, Ali Nawaz, and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.

He said the terrorists were the enemies of development and progress in the province of Balutchistan and reiterated that the harmful creations of the terrorists would not be authorized to succeed.

“The surveys’ staff have put their life to the defense of the country,” he said and praised martyred staff for sacrificing his life for peace in the country.

The country experienced a sharp increase in terrorist attacks in January 2025, increasing by 42% compared to the previous month, according to data published by Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS), a reflection group.

The data revealed that at least 74 militant attacks were registered nationally, resulting in 91 deaths, including 35 members of security staff, 20 civilians and 36 activists. 117 other people were injured, including 53 members of the security forces, 54 civilians and 10 activists.

KP remained the most affected province, followed by Balutchistan. In KP’s established districts, activists led 27 attacks, leading to 19 deaths, including 11 security staff, six civilians and two activists.

The tribal districts of KP (old Fata) witnessed 19 attacks, resulting in 46 deaths, including 13 members of the security personnel, eight civilians and 25 activists.
