- PM’s help accuses the former government of PTI corruption.
The Prime Minister’s help on political and public affairs, Rana Sanaullah, said on Wednesday that the government would hold the repollant in any district if Pakistan Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI) could provide proofs of electoral ones.
“PTI has accepted the system … It should not create an artificial crisis in the country,” Sanaullah said in a statement.
His remarks came while the former ruling party plans to launch another anti-government movement after Eid-Ul-Fitr, the founder of the Imran Khan party ordered “contact with other opposition parties For demonstrations after Eid “.
In April of last year, the PTI formed a multi-part opposition alliance called Tehreek Tahafuz Ayeen-i-Pakistan, including the Sunni Ittehad Council, the Balochistan National Party, Jamaat-E-Islami and Majlis Wahdat-i- Muslimeen.
Now, the former ruling party would have led to former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to be part of his anti-government movement.
Revealing the strategy of the former ruling party, the lawyer of Imran, Faisal, Chaudhry, said that the PTI worked to form a great opposition alliance, focused on certain objectives, in particular the restoration of the Constitution and democracy.
In the statement today, Sanaullah also said that an attempt had been made to create a crisis in the country on November 24, 2024-the day PTI organized a “do-gold” demonstration in Islamabad.
Islamabad witnessed battles between the law enforcement agencies and the PTI supporters while the latter moved to D-CHOWK for the party’s power show in the midst of intense tears.
However, a repression at the end of the evening of the government ended with a hasty retirement from the main leaders and supporters of the PTI, after which the party suddenly ended its protest.
Ferocious clashes led to the martyrdom of at least four members of the Rangers staff as well as two police officers with the former ruling party claiming that 12 of its demonstrators died. The demonstrations led to arrests and several cases registered against workers and party supporters.
Accusing the former government of PTI corruption, Sanaullah said that appointments and transfers to Punjab had been made by giving bribes.
Earlier in the day, the president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif, promised to block attempts to create a “artificial political crisis” in the country.
“(The) inhabitants of Pakistan will not allow anyone to obstruct the development and progress trip,” said former triple Prime Minister at a meeting with Senator PML-N Irfan Siddiqui in Raiwind.
