Islamabad: A joint investigation team (JIT) summoned 25 members of Pakistan Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI) again in relation to a case of current anti-state propaganda involving activities on social networks.
Although the JIT summoned 25 party leaders on Friday, the only lawyer Gohar, Rauf Hassan and Shah Farman appeared in front of the team, sources revealed.
Party leaders suffered a five -hour interrogation by the JIT, during which Farman, who was thrown additional difficult questions, behaved inappropriately, added the sources.
In addition, the leaders of the PTI, including Hassan, Salman Akram Raja and Firdous Shamim Naqvi, as well as the social media team, were summoned on March 11.
Sources have also said that Khalid Khurshid, Aslam Iqbal, Hammad Azhar, Aon Abbas, Aliya Hamza, Shehbaz Shabbir, Sheikh Waqas, Kanwal Shauzab, Taimur Saleem, Asad Qaïser, Shah Farman, Asif Rasheed, Muhammad Arshad, been summoned.
Sources have indicated that assignment opinions have also been published in Jibran Ilyas, Salman Raza, Zulfi Bukhari, Musa Virk and Ali Malik, and surveys are carried out against these individuals for anti-state propaganda.
It should be noted that the JIT investigating the case, led by IG Islamabad, was formed under article 30 of the 2016 law on the prevention of electronic crimes. The purpose of the JIT is to recommend legal action against those involved.
