The federal government announced Tuesday that fuel prices will remain unchanged in the next fortnight and that savings will be used to improve the country’s infrastructure.
Today presiding over a meeting of the federal cabinet in Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said: “The government has decided not to pass the advantages of the drop in fuel prices on the international market for people. The savings in oil prices will be used to heal the country’s injuries. ”
The Prime Minister said that the funds would be used to paint the most important road in Balutchistan, the N-25, which links Chaman, Quetta, Kallat, Khuzdar and Karachi.
He said it will be a two -lane road but will be renovated in accordance with the highway standards.
After the decision of the federal cabinet, the price of gasoline will remain at Rs 254.63 per liter, while the high -speed diesel will be at the price of RS258.64 per liter.
Speaking on occasion, he said that the federal government also build M-6 and M-9 motorways from Sukkur to Hyderabad and Hyderabad in Karachi.

The Prime Minister said the same oil prices will also be used to complete phase 2 of the Kachhi Canal project, which will irrigate hundreds of land acres in Balutchistan province.

The Prime Minister said that the four provinces of Pakistan are like four brothers and will share the resources equally and fairly.
He said that the prosperity of Pakistan is linked to the prosperity of Balutchistan.
In addition, the Federal Cabinet approved the 1961 amendment to petroleum products (Petroleum Levy). This amendment will increase national income.
The firm also granted approval to the sustainable investment sukuk framework for the issue of interior securities by the government. This will be useful for emitting Sukuk for sustainable room.
