The National Center for National Operations (NEOC) of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a meteorological advice for intense precipitation, storms and isolated hailstorms that should strike Rawalpindi, Islamabad and other regions from Friday evening to Saturday.

This alert follows a harmful hailstorm that struck the federal capital and certain parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), causing windshields of broken vehicles, broken solar panels and broken trees.

The opinion covers the region of Porthohar, the superior and central Punjab, warning that strong winds and torrential rains could cause damage to infrastructure, disrupt travel and have an impact on agriculture.

High -speed winds can uproot the trees and cause temporary power outages, while orebras threaten vehicles, roofs, power lines and crops – in particular installations with glass surfaces.

Reduced visibility due to dust and rain can increase the risk of road accidents. Citizens are encouraged to remain informed by downloading the official Pak NDMA disaster alert application for real -time updates.

Tourists and residents of risk areas should monitor the sources verified for developments and avoid non -essential travel.

Residents are advised to take precautionary measures, secure bulk objects and avoid unnecessary trips in severe weather conditions.
