At least six terrorists were killed in two separate intelligence operations (IBOS) carried out by security forces in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the media wing confirmed on Monday.
According to inter-service public relations (ISPR), the first operation took place in the general area of Razmak, located in the district of northern Waziristan, where the security forces have initiated alleged terrorist hiding places.
“During the conduct of the operation, the own troops actually hired the location of Khawarij; consequently, five Khawarij were sent to hell,” said the ISPR.
In a separate operation in southern Waziristan, the troops managed to neutralize Zabi Ullah Zakran, a high -value target and a leader who would have been involved in multiple terrorist attacks against the security forces and the targeted murder of civilians.
According to the ISPR, Zakran appeared on the most sought -after list of law enforcement organizations due to its long -standing participation in extremist activities.
Disinfection operations are currently underway in both areas to eliminate remaining threats. The ISPR reiterated the determination of the military, declaring that “the security forces are determined to destroy the threat of terrorism in the country”.
