  • The ministry has completed the provisions for 2025 hajj operation.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Inter-Filial Harmony has confirmed that all the arrangements for the Hajj operation in 2025 had been completed, the first flight as part of the government program which traveled on April 29 and the last flight scheduled for May 31.

In total, 342 flights will transport pilgrims from Pakistan, with 89,000 people to go to Madina and Mecca, the ministry announced on Saturday.

The HAJJ flight operation will extend over 33 days. Pilgrims will mainly be transported by plane to Madina in the first 15 days. On the day of opening the operation, six flights are expected to leave for Saudi Arabia.

Two flights will go from Lahore, while a flight will each operate from Islamabad, Karachi, Quetta and Multan. The first flight, operated by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), will leave Islamabad at 4:45 a.m., carrying 393 pilgrims.

A flight of a private airline from Lahore, with 150 pilgrims, will take off at 8:30 am, followed by a PIA flight from Quetta at 9:30 am, transporting 150 other pilgrims. From Multan, a pia flight with 393 pilgrims is scheduled at 8:15 p.m.

The private flight of the Karachi airline, carrying 285 pilgrims, will leave at 9:30 p.m., while another flight from Lahore, with 329 pilgrims on board, will leave at 10:15 p.m.

Last week, the ministry announced that a total of 23,620 Pakistan pilgrims could carry out the Hajj in 2025 as part of the Hajj private program.

According to the ministry spokesman Muhammad Umar Butt, the update list of approved service providers for the HAJJ 2025 was downloaded from the official website of the ministry and the Pak Hajj mobile application.

He informed that all the pilgrims who reserved their arrangements of the Hajj through registered service providers are invited to verify the status of their requests and contracts by visiting the portal of the ministry at https://pvt-inquiry.hajjinfo.org/. Pilgrims are also encouraged to use the Pak Hajj 2025 mobile application for other updates and information, he added.

Umar Butt said that all organizers of the Approved Hajj Group (HGO) and service providers were invited to issue Hajj Updated contracts (Hajj forms) to pilgrims by the Hajj quota allocated for 2025.

Butt said they should also guarantee the Hajj visa emission before April 18, 2025, in accordance with the directives provided by the Ministry of Hajj and OMRA, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
