In the middle of the current tensions between Islamabad and New Delhi after the attack on Pahalgam, Pakistan and China reiterated their firmness on Sunday to maintain regional peace and stability.

The development came while the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Ishaq Dar, organized a telephone conversation with the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and informed him of the current regional situation.

The two best diplomats also called for the promotion of mutual respect and understanding, and opposed unilateralism and hegemonic policies.

In addition to China, Pakistan has contacted friendly countries, including Saudi Arabia, Iran and Egypt, to inform them of the situation resulting from a fatal attack in Jammu and Kashmir (Iijojk), it was the subject of death.

New Delhi has linked Islamabad to the attack without offering any evidence and took a burst of punitive measures to demarcate the links, in particular the suspension of the Industry Water Treaty, the revocation of the Pakistani visas, the closure of the Wagah-Attari border crossing among others.

Pakistan responded in kind to the measures of India and warned to suspend the Simla agreement, in addition to closing its airspace for Indian flights.
