The director general of inter-service public relations, lieutenant-general Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, said that a military conflict between Pakistan and India, which are nuclear powers, is “pure stupidity” and is an absurd idea.

The military spokesman expressed his point of view while speaking to a British media after the dead end with India.

He added that a nuclear conflict could lead to mutual destruction for the two countries.

“Pakistan wants peace, but if a war is imposed, then we are all ready,” said the military spokesman.

He criticized the “arrogance” of India by promoting a story of the war between the two countries. He added that a dispute exists, which could be ignited at any time.

To a question concerning the possibility of a nuclear conflict between the nations of South Asia, the CEO ISPR replied that India “plays with fire” on the basis of a false story.

Chaudhry also said that Pakistan had reacted with great maturity and prevented the situation from degenerating. Responding to the Indian allegations of Pakistan’s involvement in Pahalgam’s attack, he said they would take measures if India provided evidence against a Pakistanis.

However, in India, no one in his government asked strict questions about the security period that led to the incident, and no one was interested in the reasons.

On the ceasefire, the military spokesman said that Pakistan favors peace and that the country celebrates peace, not victory.

Another question on contacts for rear bands between the two countries, the CEO said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs could answer it, because the military does not deal with politics and diplomacy.

Chaudhry said Pakistan responded strongly to Indian assault at night between May 6 and 7. “We have shot down six Indian planes, and we could have destroyed more,” he added.

The armed forces of Pakistan launched a large-scale military reprisal action, called “Operation Bunyan-UM-Marsoos”, and targeted several Indian military targets in several regions in response to unlikely strikes.

The strikes, described by managers as “precise and proportionate”, were carried out in response to the continuous aggression of India through the control line (LOC) and in the territory of Pakistan, which said New Delhi was targeting the “terrorist targets”.

Pakistan has shot down its six fighter planes, including three bursts and dozens of drones. After about 87 hours, the war between the two nuclear countries ended on May 10 with a cease-fire agreement negotiated by the United States.

The military confrontation between the two countries was launched by the attack last month in Jammu and Kashmir (Iiojk), was the subject of 26 tourists, accusing Pakistan for the attack without offering.
