Islamabad: The National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) warned that five separate meteorological systems should trigger thunderstorms, strong winds, hailstorms and heavy showers in various parts of the country, with Islamabad and Rawalpindi likely to deal with particularly serious conditions.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has urged all provincial authorities and the district to guarantee emergency preparation, stay alert and coordinate with local response units for a timely action. The authority will continue to monitor the developing situation and make regular updates.
A public opinion has also been issued, urging citizens to be cautious in the midst of the weather in progress. People are advised to avoid unnecessary trips, especially in hilly areas or prone to floods, secure vulnerable structures, trees, electric lines and solar panels, and parking vehicles in safe and sheltered places.
Farmers are advised to take measures to protect standing crops against potential hail and strong winds. Travelers and tourists should remain vigilant during outdoor activities and mountain excursions.

According to the Neoc, two main meteorological systems merger on twin cities, gusts of wind and strong precipitation expected between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. today. Dispatched hailstorms, wind storms and intense showers are also provided in parts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), northern punjab and southeast Punjab.
In southern Punjab, a slow system is currently active in the Rohi region of Rahim Yar Khan. It is gradually developing towards Rahim Yar Khan City, Sadiqabad and Minthar, bringing light to moderate rain.
In KP, an active system extends from Peshawar to parachinaire, with thunderstorms, gusts and strong precipitation which should affect Peshawar, Darra Adam Khel and neighboring areas.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir are also under the influence of a solid meteorological system, extending from Muzaffarabad in the Neelum valley, which is likely to provide new precipitation and a potential storm activity.
