
President Asif Ali Zardari visited the air headquarters (AHQ) on Tuesday to cheer up Pakistan Air Force (PAF) after his resounding success in the defense of Pakistan air borders and offering a decisive response to the recent assault of India.
Upon arrival, an intelligent contingent of Pakistan Air Force presented an honorary guard to the president, said a press release from the presidency.
The chief of the air staff, the chief marshal of the air paf, Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, called President Zardari to the AHQ.

The president expressed his satisfaction with the preparation for the combat of the PAF and reiterated total support from the government to the Air Force in his pursuit of excellence, said the president’s secretariat in a statement.
During the meeting, Sidhu shared an overview of various modernization projects in the process of the operational construction of the PAF, the force objectives and the plans for the structure of the force with a lively accent on the future war.
In the recent impasse against India, he attributed the success of the PAF to incomparable training, intelligent inductions, transparent operational preparation and a chain of local death sharpened by the mastery of modern war.
The chief of air pointed out that for the first time in its history, the PAF led complete spectrum operations during the recent conflict, using multi-domain war capacities.
This included the integration of space, cyber and electronic war, in parallel with the strategic application of niche and disturbance technologies, which collectively generated decisive effects that have contributed considerably to Pakistan’s victory over India.
The president expressed his deep appreciation for exemplary professionalism, unshakable commitment and the indomitable spirit demonstrated by the staff of Pakistan Air Force.
He recognized the central and decisive role played by the PAF in the safeguard of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan during the recent conflict, which led to a historic and resolved victory.
He also praised the management of the marshal of the head of air Sidhu, recognizing his role in the modernization of the PAF and the rapid integration of advanced technologies which considerably improved the operational preparation of the Pakistani Air Force and recalibrated the region’s deterrence landscape.
The president stressed that the daring and visionary leadership of the Pakistan armed forces had enabled Pakistan to provide a firm and timely response to Indian aggression, ensuring that Air Force remains at the forefront of technological and strategic advancement.
Later, President Zardari also visited the National Isr and Integrated Air Operations Center where he was informed of the overall operational capacities of Pakistan Air Force.
The visit ended with a reaffirmation of the unshakable confidence of the nation in its armed forces, in particular Pakistan Air Force, as a vital pillar in the defense of the fatherland.
